Hire new apprentices between 1st August 2020 and 31st March 2021 and receive an incentive payment. If you take on new apprentices between 1 February 2021 and 31 March 2021, you can apply for the Government Incentive from 1 February to 30 April 2021. Any organisation can apply for the payment, no matter the size or the sector.
The important thing is that you hire an apprentice who;
1. Is new to your organisation
2. Starts their contract of employment and apprenticeship with you between 1st August and the 31st March 2021.
For each apprentice employed and enrolled on an apprenticeship scheme the company will receive an incentive payment of £4,000 for each new apprentice recruited aged under 25 where the contract of employment is for at least 30 hours per week and £2,000 for each new apprentice recruited aged under 25 where the contract of employment is under 30 hours per week.
Payments will be limited to a maximum of ten apprentices per employer. This incentive applies to apprenticeships delivered at Levels 2-5 only.
The straightforward application process will mean you will be paid in two equal instalments, after the apprentices completes 90 days of their apprenticeship and the second after 365 days of their apprenticeship.
Enroll your staff onto either our level 3, 4 or 6 apprenticeship in order to receive a government incentive payment.
